Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Timothy F. Ghormley serves as Chief of Staff for Esprit de Competition Inc., bringing more than four decades of leadership in joint operations, aviation, and global command roles. A retired U.S. Marine Corps general, he previously served as Chief of Staff at U.S. Central Command under Gen. John Abizaid, led the Combined Joint Task Force–Horn of Africa, and held key posts including Inspector General of the Marine Corps and Director of Manpower Plans and Policy. A veteran of Vietnam, OEF, and strategic roles across the Indo-Pacific, Gen. Ghormley now applies his command experience and sharp operational judgment to guiding both our corporate mission and—true to form—our family. In both the military and at EDC, he’s been keeping the unit tight and on task for decades.
